VERAUT is a company specialising in wireless data communication, headquartered in Linz, Austria. Since its founding in 1989, we have developed our own hardware, firmware and software – entirely in-house, without outsourcing to third parties.
Our focus is on energy-efficient, battery-powered communication solutions for demanding field applications: smart metering, ATEX environments, level monitoring and municipal traffic management. Where other systems fail – in basements, shafts, explosive atmospheres, without mains power – we develop the right solution.
For our customers this means: one point of contact, maximum flexibility for customisations, no dependency on third-party components – and direct support from Linz, in your time zone.

VERAUT wurde 1989 in Linz founded – mit dem Ziel, drahtlose Kommunikationstechnologie für industrielle Anwendungen weiterzuentwickeln. Was als Spezialisierung auf GSM-basierte Datenkommunikation begann, ist heute ein complete IoT product portfolio mit eigenem Datencenter, eigener Cloud-Plattform und over 50.000 metering points worldwide im Einsatz.
Throughout this journey VERAUT has remained true to its founding philosophy: no off-the-shelf solutions, no black-box components – but complete control over hardware, firmware and software from a single source.
