Why Ultrasonic?

The VUSWM’s ultrasonic technology enables non-contact, high-precision flow measurement without any moving parts. This ensures maximum reliability and completely maintenance-free operation for many years.

Thanks to high-resolution transit-time measurement, the VUSWM detects even the smallest continuous consumption and thus enables early leak detection. The corrosion-resistant stainless-steel measuring tube (SS-steel body) guarantees a long service life, even under demanding environmental conditions.

 

Measuring principle in 30 seconds:

  1. Two sensors send ultrasound against the flow

  2. Transit-time difference = flow rate

  3. No moving parts ⇒ accuracy up to R 800
