NB-IoT Box Family

One platform – many variants.

All NB-IoT Boxes share the same energy-optimized communication and cloud connectivity (NB-IoT → API). Differences exist only in the interfaces to external measuring devices – from TTL to RS-232/RS-485, from pulse (S0) and absolute encoder to GPS/geofencing.

The NB-IoT Box platform is built on dynamic energy management (deep sleep, adaptive transmission intervals), intelligent network search/connectivity with retries & watchdogs, and hourly, plannable transmission. This guarantees long battery lifetimes with stable connectivity – even in challenging radio environments.

Architecture – Communication & Interfaces

Left: the communication unit (NB-IoT modem, eSIM, security, energy management).

Right: the I/O section (DI/AI/DO, serial ports, encoders incl. SCR / Namur / Gray code, GPS).

Between them: buffer memory & firmware.
